This year one of our students here in IHS transition II program had a great opportunity to work at Embassy Suites in Franklin, TN. He was able to learn most of the job responsibilities that pertain to working at Embassy. Like most students in the program Jose began in the laundry room and worked his way up to each level. He help clean rooms, lobby, and banquet setup and serving. For Jose it was a great experience. He loves to work at "the hotel" and is always excited when he returns to campus. He's so excited to explain what his daily tasks were that day. He logged in each day for work on time, signed what areas he worked in and reported to a boss to find out how to do his tasks.
Jose is one of those personalities that is excited to work. He loves his jobs. He will work tirelessly for his job. As a way to celebrate an exciting and fun year for all the students and employees at Embassy Suites, "The Hotel" threw a small little party. As Jose said, "Pizza made my stomach full." In other words, it was good and fun. A huge thank you to Embassy Suites for such a wonderful school year. All of the students and Jose really had a blast. Until next year...
