The saying "old things become new again" is very true here at IHS Transition II Class.
This week our Transition II students began work on making clothing and other other items from scrap material and old t-shirts by cutting and sewing the materials together.
Our "Pinterest" fans found a couple of paterns online to help in their quest in making great scarves and purses. The project allowed our students to learn and use many different skills. First, we learned the basics of cutting and measuring thru the help of a pattern. Then we learned the difference in making an item we like versus buying it at the store. It provide them with confidence and enjoyment by making the items. They all turned out really great. An awesome job by our IHS Transition II students.
